About the Volunteer Program:

As a non-profit organization, Quality Hospice relies on community volunteers to assist with meeting the needs of our patients and their families. Volunteers contribute in many ways, from companionship to baking to filing paperwork. Prior to August 29th, 2005, Quality Hospice had many active volunteers including local church groups, other non-profit organizations, private clubs and citizens. However, Hurricane Katrina has displaced quite a few of our active volunteers.
 

We Need Your Help:

Quality Hospice is currently seeking volunteers for the following categories:

• Direct Care: Companionship and personal support for our patients and their families.
   

• Office Work: Assisting with mail-outs, filing, typing, etc.
   

• Indirect Care: Crafts, baking, fund raising, etc.
